Powder Brows - Mistakes to Avoid
Seven mistakes to avoid to achieve perfect pixels:
1. Utilizing the Wrong Angle with the PMU Device. The angle of the needle must vary in different sections. Although it's mostly 90 degrees in most areas, this isn't always the case, especially in the lower section of the brow.
2. Insufficient Skin Stretching. Proper skin stretching from three points is vital. Achieving the correct pixels becomes challenging if the skin isn't tight enough.
3. Misaligned Hand Speed. The speed of hand movement must correlate with the speed of the machine. A faster hand requires a greater machine speed.
4. Insufficient Hand Support. Achieving perfect pixels requires proper hand support on the client's head.
5. Lack of Detailed Knowledge About Machine Properties. Understanding the specific properties and parameters of the machine is essential, as every machine may require different needle lengths and speeds.
6. Inadequate Mastery of Whip and Pendulum Techniques: Proper control of these techniques ensures uniformity in the entry and "lift-off" of the needle on the skin.
7. Over-numbing the Skin: Over-numbing one brow and stressing the skin is a common beginner's mistake. A better approach is to avoid skin stress by moving from one brow to the other.
